Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre is located in the heart of the beautiful landscaped Sokolniki Park, which is one of the oldest and well-developed parks in Moscow. After visiting our event you can walk along the numerous green shady valleys, enjoy the beautiful rose and lilac gardens near ECC “Sokolniki”, or spend some peaceful moments by the shores of numerous picturesque ponds.
If you prefer active leisure, there are plenty of options for you, with bicycles, pedicabs, segways, hoverboards, and other exotic contraptions to rent. While attending an important conference or selecting exclusive presents at a trade show at ECC Sokilniki, you can safely leave your children with experienced instructors at one of several kids’ studios in the park.
And of course, winter is skating time – Festivalnaya square in front of exhibition pavilions transforms into an open-air skating rink!
Should you feel peckish after a busy day at an exhibition, you can stop and have a bite in one of the numerous cafes and restaurants, all within a short distance from the exhibition complex. Pizza, noodles, pasta, fast food, barbecue, or coffee, desserts and ice-cream – make your choice and enjoy.
Moreover, we regularly hold the GreenMarket festival of eco food where you can buy freen products from Russian farmers. There are also popular festivals of street food. You’ll see it’s impossible to stay hungry in Sokolniki!
A must-see: neighboring the pavilions of Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre is the unique Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, presenting an outstanding collection of exclusive works of art. Have a relaxed tour around the museum or try your hand at the art of fine writing at a workshop given by a renowned calligraphy master – the experience is sure to be unforgettable either way.
