Exhibition Centers Ready for work during the COVID-19 epidemic
Alexei Kharyutkin, Deputy General Director of the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center, told the MK newspaper about the readiness of Moscow exhibition centers to work in the conditions of the COVID-19 epidemic.
According to him, the exhibition centers of the capital are ready to carry out most of the anti-epidemic measures recommended by Rospotrebnadzor. Passages between the stands are always mounted based on the three-meter distance, and the exhibition venues introduced the mask mode in March of their own free will. In addition, the sites will be launched in stages. This is due to the fact that all the metropolitan exhibition complexes are now given over to covid hospitals. The congress centers owners hope that by the fall, about 60–70 percent of the space will return to its intended purpose. The remaining 30–40 percent will remain in reserve as an extra bed fund until at least the new year.
