Moscow exhibition centers are planning to be allowed to return to their usual activities only in April 2021. Now many of them have been converted into temporary hospitals for patients with coronavirus. However, such a long downtime will hit all representatives of the industry, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) warned. The state will also suffer. According to RUEF, the total loss of the country's gross domestic product will amount to about 620 billion rubles, of which only taxes would be paid in the amount of more than 70 billion rubles. The observer of the Izvestia newspaper, Sergey Uvarov, understood the situation.
