Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre will support the Ural Archery Race Cup
As a result of an online meeting between the heads of the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre and the Lukobeg project, an agreement was reached on cooperation in organizing and holding the Open Ural Archery Race Cup.
Alexey Shaburov, President of Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre said – “We are glad to support this good initiative. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, the format of distance competitions is especially relevant. I will follow with interest the progress of the struggle for leadership in the overall standings of the Ural Archery Race Open Cup.”
Egor Rastorguev, coordinator of the Lukobeg project noted – “We are proud of our friendship with the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre. This is a landmark place for us. Here we had our first bouts in the Moscow Open Cup in archery. I am sure that cooperation at the Ural Cup will be mutually beneficial. I sincerely hope that the Convention and Exhibition Center will return to its main activity and that we will be able to compete with the whole world on its territory in the very near future.”
For reference: The Open Ural Archery Race Cup will be held from 09/13 to 10/03/2020 at lukobeg.ru.In running and archery, participants will compete remotely through the TIK-TOK application. Residents of Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk and Moscow regions have already submitted applications for participation. The co-organizers of the tournament were the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre, the Bannoe State Medical Center, the Kurtash Sports Complex, the BUNKER game-club, and the Magnitogorsk Archery Group.
