Artos Festival presents national cuisines

Between February 18 and 24 exhibit hall 2 in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre is holding the 16th International Orthodox Festival called Artos. The National Cuisines, which gathered over 200 participants from Russia and other countries. A truly eventful agenda lies ahead: cooking workshops, live shows, movies, book presentations and meetings with priests.

Diverse fair and cultural venues are open daily: the festival holds numerous free workshops to cook the Middle East, Greek and Spanish dishes, pelmeni and baking home-made bread – you can try your hand in cooking first and then taste the meals.

On top of the educational agenda, the festival features one of the largest Moscow trade fairs that sees farms and monasteries from Russia, Georgia, Greece, Belorussia, Ukraine and Mongolia offering green products, home-made cheeses, honey, pickles, herbs and much more. The trade fair also features Orthodox books and publications, icons, jewellery and the produce of professional potters and ceramists.
