The Preobrazhensky Meetings Festival

The Brotherhood of the Transfiguration Preobrazhensky union of minor Orthodox brotherhoods celebrated its 25th anniversary by organizing a festival dedicated to contemporary ecclesiastical life in Russia. The festival was held on August, 25th, in exhibit halls 4 and 4.2 of Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre. According to the organizers, the festival was a platform for ‘creative communication’ and ‘fruitful discussion of the current problems of the Church’.
