About:
The Treasures of the North 2016 Exhibition will be held over the spring holidays. During that time, Sokolniki park will host a vast cultural festival programme and the Northern fair will become part of it. Northern Camp: the 11th All-Russian Festival of Artisan Crafts of the Peoples of the North, Siberia and Far East of the Russian Federation and Polar Style: the 4th Festival of Ethnical Fashion of the Northern Tribes are traditionally held in spring. The street stage will become the venue for the Northern Tribes Welcome Friends! Festival
The Northern Nomads Camp open-air ethnical exposition will show Khanty, Nenets, and Evenki chums and Chukchi yarangas.
The festival also features a business programme with presentations of regional goods, artistic meetings, round table discussions and conferences concerning current problems of small indigenous ethnicities of the North, Siberia and Far East of the Russian Federation.
