About the project:
“Transport Week – 2011” is a unique format that includes the largest and the most important business and cultural events of the industry. From 21st to 26th November, 2011 more than 15,000 representatives of government and business are to participate in the discussion of topical issues of functioning and development of the transport complex of Russia and its integration into the global transportation system at Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre. A single market for every event will create favourable conditions for effective communication of all stakeholders.
“Transport Week – 2011” includes:
* International Congress "ROAD TRAFFIC RUSSIA-2011. Traffic management in the Russian Federation” (November, 22nd);
* International Road Congress “Innovations in road infrastructure” (22nd – 24th November);
* The 5th Jubilee International Forum “Transport of Russia”:
o plenary session, panel discussion (November, 23nd),
o Conference on the subject of railway, road, air, sea and river transport (24th - 25th November),
o an evening reception on behalf of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin (November, 23rd);
* The 5th Jubilee International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” (23rd - 25th November);
* A variety of recreational and sports activities:
o Award for young scientists and journalists (November, 21st),
o All-Russia festival of creativity of transport university students “TranspArt – 2011” (Final – November, 21st),
o 3rd All-Russian Olympics of transport university students (Final – November, 22nd),
o Open cup of the RF Ministry of Transport for team sports (November, 26th).

The exhibition aims to present the RF Government the results of the transport industry for the year in order to identify promising areas for further development.
