On Sunday, May 26, Sokolniki Park in Moscow will host Shalom Israel Festival to celebrate the independence day for the Jewish state.
The event will showcase new facts and details about today's Israel, which celebrates its 71st birthday this year: special information booths will feature representatives of municipalities, state authorities and educational institutions to answer questions.
The agenda will include a show and welcome surprises, workshops and talks by renowned representatives of Israel and Russia, as well as a special entertainment agenda for children.
A dedicated food court area will offer a selection of Israeli cuisine.
The festival in Sokolniki is organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel in partnership with Ofeq Israeli company, the Masa programme, the Russian Jewish Congress, and other Jewish organizations.
The event is admission free, to attend please register at the website and make sure you have an ID to present to enter the venue.
