THE RUSSIAN COFFEE AND TEA INDUSTRY EVENT is a Russian international conference and exhibition for tea and coffee concerning the whole production chain from a bean or tealeaf to the cup. The event claims to be the largest industry event in Russia.

THE RUSSIAN COFFEE AND TEA INDUSTRY EVENT (RUCTIE) is a unique platform for business development, where over 4 000 professionals from Russia, CIS and other foreign countries will gather under one roof. It will attract over 60 leading companies of the tea and coffee sector: suppliers of tea and coffee stock, producers of tea and coffee, exporters, importers and distributors, producers of all kinds of equipment, producers of packing and packing equipment, various ingredients and accessories for the industry products.

Apart from the vast exhibition zone RUCTIE will also feature a rich business programme comprising:

-          The 5th Moscow International Tea Symposium;

-          The 6th Moscow International Coffee Forum;

-          Over 40 seminars, workshops, trainings and presentations from the industry professionals;

Over the three days of RUCTIE numerous events will take place, such as the Russian Barista competition of Russia’s most experienced and talented barista. In 2016 the Russian Barista battle will comprise 6 national championships: the Barista Championship, the Cup Tasters championship, the Latte Art championship, the Coffee In Good Spirits Championship of Coffee And Alcohol, the Brewers Cup Championship and the Roasting Championship. These events are organized under the umbrella of World Coffee Event and with the support of Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE). All of the championships rank as try-outs for international championships, and the winners will represent Russia at the world tournaments in China and Ireland in 2016.

Parallel to these, RUCTIE will run the 3rd Russian Tea Masters Cup where the best Russian tea masters will compete. Winners of the elimination rounds from most of the Russian regions will compete in three categories: The Skill of Brewing Tea, Tea Composition and The Art of Tea Tasting.

Moreover, a professional tea mixology championship, the ALTHAUS MIXOLOGY, will be held for the first time in the history of the Russian tea industry.
