The national Roaster of the Year award will also be presented based on the coffee roasting competition results.

Over the course of three days RUCTIE will host the Russian Barista Days, a competition of the most experienced and outstanding national coffee experts. In 2017 the Russian Barista Days will unite 3 national championships as follows: Barista Championship, Cup Tasters Championship and Brewers Cup Championship. These events are organized by the World Coffee Event and run under the auspices of Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE). All competitions rank as qualifications and meet all global championship requirements. Russian winners of those will represent the country in 2017 in Seoul (South Korea) and Budapest (Hungary).

Best tea experts from Russia will gather at the 4th Tea Masters Cup Russia, which will also be hosted as a part of RUCTIE. Qualification winners from various federal regions of Russia will compete in three nominations: brew-up, tea composition and tea tasting mastery.
