Traditional Russian Art Week in Moscow will once again showcase a wide gamut of artworks from more than half of Russian regions and 20 more countries, including fine arts, graphics, photography, sculpture, textile art, and crafts. Distinctive and unique exhibits will serve as a true revelation for the vibrant community of art fans and connoisseurs.

The exhibition will also put on display projects of the Russian Design Week, the international design forum that will offer an eventful presentation of contemporary forms and concepts.

A major focus will be given to the Art Portrait project featuring celebrity portraits.

The exhibition will also host the 1st festival of copiers, The Great Copy – a unique project for Russia exhibiting copies of contemporary art masterpieces, offering opportunities for the incredibly exciting comparisons between museum originals and copies made by contemporary artists.

Russian Art Week, the international forum of arts, will include the following sections:

1) trade fair of arts and design;
2) contest exhibition (fine arts, graphics, photography, sculpture, textile art, and crafts);
3) Moscow Supervisor Forum;
4) Conference “Preservation and Augmentation of Historical Heritage and Cultural Values of Russian Peoples;”

SPECIAL PROGRAMME DETAILS:

Moscow Supervisor Forum (November 2, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM):

This workshop will introduce cross-disciplinary supervisor practices uniting representatives of various professional and enthusiast communities. The central focus will be given to new formats and conditions for supervisor practices dictated by relevant modern technologies, global climate crisis, and professional mobility, and often associated with the ever-changing social and political strings, and new ideas of artistic and institutional production.

Conference “Preservation and Augmentation of Historical Heritage and Cultural Values of Russian Peoples” (November 5, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Insights of specific techniques, materials and approaches employed globally for creation of art objects, structure and operational specifics of Russian and international art markets, and talent support initiatives.

Workshops and talks are scheduled daily within the exhibition opening hours – 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

All workshops and talks are exclusive and encourage both professionals and amateurs to attend.
