Between June the 21st and 24th, 2018, Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre will hold the 9th city exhibition dubbed Health and Safety in Moscow – 2018. This year the exhibition will feature the first Moscow city health and safety festival – over the course of two working and two weekend days every visitor will have time and opportunity to take part in its eventful programme.
The festival's team focuses on shaping and development of safety and healthy living culture, both professionally and socially. The festival venue will offer a plenty of activities to anyone's liking for all ages – as we know, it's crucial to cultivate the safety culture from a young age.
“Health and safety is a constitutional right that we must protect. I am sure the exhibition will demonstrate some advanced technologies that will help us enrich our knowledge and translate it into action”, said Vladimir Petrosyan, the Minister of the Moscow Government and Chairman of the Department of Labour and Welfare of Moscow.
Traditional business agenda will be complemented by an entertaining show, including interactive quizzes, workshops and exciting sport events featuring stunt performers.
“Ensuring health and occupational safety is one of the key priorities for the Moscow Government”, emphasized Sergey Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, in his welcome speech. The exhibition will put on display innovative social and labour technologies and projects.
The festival will provide a unique dedicated interactive venue equipped to demonstrate and test protective capabilities of personal protection equipment in the setting of real risks and occupational hazards. The festival will also feature the 6th All-Russian Congress of Health and Safety Professionals and the Health Fair, which will introduce the latest developments in occupational medicine, equipment and drugs to prevent occupational illnesses and maintain health.
