Oldtimer Gallery is the largest annual exhibition of vintage cars and antiques in Russia, a truly “golden fund” of technical culture.
This year is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The military-technical festival “Victory Motors” will be held as part of the exhibition, which combines the expositions of dozens of museums and clubs of historical reconstruction, because the weapons of the winners are not only Ural armor and Lend-Lease steel of military vehicles, but also factory machines, field telephones, a unique newsreel, “Combat leaflets”, front-line photos, soldier triangle letters. Many exhibits were recovered from museum reserves and restored specifically for this event.
For the first time in one hall at the stand of the Special Purpose Garage, a complete collection of ceremonial convertibles will be presented: seven cars that “remember” Marshal Zhukov and cosmonaut Gagarin, USSR defense ministers Grechko and Ustinov. The significance of these magnificent fast-moving “steel horses” in the history of our country can hardly be overestimated: each of them, from the Stalin's ZIS-110B to the modern “Aurus”, is an absolute and priceless relic that has become a triumphal symbol of the Great Victory.
