About the project:
The exhibition is held in the context of Russia’s signing the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities and the Available environs, and State programme’s implementation. The event is supported by the legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation and regions, as well as by the Russian Paralympic Committee.
The exhibition has business and regulatory programmes which include the exhibition stands of participants and exhibitors. The stands are to present: technological innovations by domestic and foreign manufacturers and developers of the equipment meant for disabled people and citizens of limited mobility; medical rehabilitation centers and dispensaries services; specialized programmes at travel agencies, public organizations for disabled people, state and non- state institutions, charities and social funds.
Some meetings of All-Russian public organizations dealing with people with disabilities (the Councils on Disability with the Chairman of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, city of Moscow, Moscow region, of the regional and the Russian Paralympic Committees), a celebration in honour of Paralympians, the participants of the 6th Paralympic Games are to take place within the framework of the exhibition alongside the set of roundtables, conferences and seminars with the participation of leading experts.
The absolute highlight of the exhibition will be Parafest Festival: Spring in Sokolniki, the All-Russian arts and sports festival for disabled people (www.parafest.ru).
An entertainment programme, exhibition of art works, sports competitions and master-classes in applied arts are planned for the visitors.
