International festival of snow and ice sculptures in Harbin
- Organizers:
- Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre, government of Harbin
- Venue:
- Sokolniki Park, Moscow, Russia
- Date:
On December 24, 2019, Sokolniki open the international festival of snow and ice sculptures to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between China and Russia. The ice artworks will appear through the efforts of top hands from Harbin – the capital of Heilongjiang (China) that has been hosting the most beautiful winter holiday on the planet since 1963.
For the first time ever, Moscow will get an opportunity to see the fascinating ice artworks, including two meter snow panels heaved in coloured backlight, ice sculptures of people or animals. Despite the Moscow festival being smaller than the original Harbin event, it will certainly become an emotional experience. Prepare for an enchanting spectacle!
The opening ceremony will take place on December 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM next to the main entrance of Sokolniki Park.
