"Tradition Is In Fashion!". This is the motto of the VI The 6th RusArtStyle Fair of Russian Craftsmen, Artists and Designers which will take place in Moscow in Sokolniki Park from the 11th to the 14th of May 2023.
At the RusArtStyle exhibition, modern Russian trends are combined with centuries-old traditions and look for their continuation in such themes as interior and decor, gifts and jewellery, designer clothes and accessories.
The project will be supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Government, “Heritage and Traditions” Association of Folk Arts and Crafts Organisations, Craftsmen and Artists.
The exhibition is primarily aimed to support creativity of young masters, designers and contributes to preservation of artistic continuity of generations, transfer of skills and technologies to the youth.
The key participants are small and medium-sized businesses, enterprises of folk crafts, best masters of applied arts and crafts, designers, associations and unions, chambers of crafts from 25 regions of Russia.
The best works and novelties will be demonstrated by masters of ceramics and porcelain; jewellery, enamel art; glass, metal, stone, woodcarving; lace weaving and embroidery, painting, interior and decorative items; leather and fur processing; designer, ethnic clothing and accessories.
“Valentina Averyanova's Fashion House of Russian Clothing” will present the revival and promotion of the Russian style through modern collections - Russian Boyar attire of the XXI century and a youth clothing and accessory line with elements of Russian cut and print.
At the RusArtStyle fair many Russian regions will unite in collective expositions and present their best craftsmen. Moscow artisans will also take part in a joint stand to present their hand-painted white clay works, ceramics, lace and batik, hand-made jewellery made from natural stone, leather and beads, decorative interior items, author dolls, floral applique, etc.
Talented masters of glass art will unite in a special project “About Glass” and delight visitors with unusual author's gifts.
As the summer season approaches, fashion designers will present their new collections of clothing and accessories featuring national motifs.
An important aspect of the exhibition will be business meetings and presentations by renowned masters and designers, who will share their experience and share their knowledge about innovations and current trends in creativity and fashion.
Workshops on felting, wood carving, leather craftsmanship and lace weaving will be held for the general public. A spring photozone will transport guests to a magical fairytale, which they will be able to capture in photographs. A daily raffle with handmade prizes from companies taking part in the project will also take place.
The RusArtStyle fair is a true celebration of beauty and talent, an event full of positive emotions, useful acquisitions and interesting ideas!
