Chinese Guangu Science and Technology Exhibition Center shared tips on fighting the epidemic with the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre

Currently, the epidemic situation associated with the new type of coronavirus in foreign countries is very serious, and appropriate measures are being taken to combat the epidemic in all these countries. The construction of the “modular hospitals” is also an important measure being taken in an increasing number of countries.

Chinese Guangu Science and Technology Exhibition Center quickly and efficiently completed the task of rebuilding during the epidemic, laying a solid foundation for creating a preparedness situation after the “modular hospital” was officially deployed. A few days ago, the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre in Moscow communicated with the Guangu Chinese Science and Technology Exhibition Center on various issues related to the transformation of the Exhibition Center into a “modular hospital”.

On April 27 at 15:00 Moscow time, Alexey Shaburov, president of the Sokolniki Exhibition Center, and Ms. She Li, deputy general director of the Guangu Science and Technology Exhibition Center, held an online conference.

The conference was also attended by Deputy Director General of the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre Alexey Kharyutkin, aides to the president of the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre Oyun Shagdarova and Anastasia Nikolaeva.

During the online conference, Ms. She Li spoke in detail about the experience when the Guangu Exhibition Center in Wuhan was converted into a temporary hospital during the coronavirus pandemic. Ms. She Li outlined in detail how the process of restructuring the exhibition pavilions went, what difficulties the exhibition center faced, what made it possible to overcome them and what role the government of the country played in this process. The conference also touched upon the issues of premises disinfection, equipment installation and many other relevant topics.

Alexey Shaburov expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ms. She Li and to the entire China Guangu Science and Technology Exhibition Center for the comprehensive answers to questions and sincere support.
