Craft Formula Moscow. Autumn 2015: The 15th International Trade Fair will take place at Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre from September 24th, 2015 till September 27th, 2015. It is the largest event dedicated to hobbies of all sorts. Materials and instruments for all kinds of handwork from producers and distributors and ready-made products will be presented at exhibit halls 4 and 4.1. Apart from that, at the creative ground of the Craft Formula’s club there will be workshops from professional teachers from various handicraft disciplines.
Today handwork is not only a labour of love but also a way of self-realization. Our exhibition is a place for art therapy where everyone will find a pastime to their liking.
Apart from the trade fair the organizers have prepared several special projects.
The Contemporary felt festival in cooperation with the Shkatulochka studio: felting has remained popular among Russian needleworkers for several seasons. The best felt makers from all over Russia will hold workshops and present their casual and extravagant designs at catwalks and for sale.
Handmade for Men: everything about male hobbies. Smithcraft, woodwork, pottery, original leather and metallic accessories will hold an important place at the exposition. Our venue is a unique place to meet a lot of talented men!
Tasty Handmade: a demonstration of the art of cooking and serving meals. A wide programme of exciting culinary workshops: every day you will have a chance to watch experts at work, have a sneak peek at the secrets of high cuisine and broaden your culinary horizons.
Craft Formula at the Lyubertsy Art Club: the new project by Craft Formula that started in the spring of 2015 and is dedicated to the creative assimilation of the urban space of the Gubernial Bookfair by handcraft enthusiasts and professionals. The art club is a place to learn about the interaction of sociocultural project activists, handcraft masters, artists, booklovers, social entrepreneurs and all the people united by the idea of creating a comfortable environment for education, leisure, repose and living.
The Craft Startup project is aimed at entrepreneurs, craftsmen and creative people aspiring for professional development and a successful business. Within the exhibition there will be a regular business programme: Craft Startup recommends!. The organizers are preparing an educational and inspiring meeting for those who have a lot of questions to ask and an ambition to grow and progress.
Be A Star Of Handwork: a project in collaboration with the Eksmo Publishing House enters its final straight! The contest has been going on for over a year and as the result four craftsmen got the opportunity to publish their books about various craft techniques at the Eksmo Publishing House. In September the winners will present their books to the exhibition’s guests.
The Craft Formula In Shot photo contest: another affiliated project of Craft Formula prepared in partnership with one of the largest Russian crowdsourcing companies: CITYCELEBRITY. Be sure to check the expositions of the winners and see what craft formula the participants have revealed.
