RuBronyCon is the annual all-Russian convention of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series fans. Due to its well-developed characters and interesting stories the series has grown very popular, among not only children but also adults, and now has numerous fans who engage in various creative activities and even have an annual convention!
Our convention offers lots of fun and joy for all of the visitors. There is a vast entertainment programme in store for you, featuring a unique cosplay fashion show (for costumed show), with prizes for the creators of the best costumes!
There will also be a stand exposition. Last year, there were over 40 stands! At the stands you will be able to attend various workshops (on playing musical instruments, sewing, modeling, painting, programming, etc.) as well as the chance to participate in numerous contests, quests, quizzes, and, of course, you will be able to buy souvenirs and merchandise related to the series.
The event also includes several meet-ups with voiceover actors and representatives of the fandom’s artistic community: artists, writers, musicians, and crafters, who make themed souvenirs with their own hands. Last year we enjoyed an interesting meeting with the voiceover actress Yelena Chebaturkina, a video conference with Andrea Libman, Katy Weslaco, Michelle Creber, and the musician Gabriel Brown (Black Gryphon).
RuBronyCon is a place of kindness and friendship, the things that we so often lack in our everyday lives. Every visitor will enjoy his or her share of good spirits and find an occupation to his liking.
The doors of RuBronyCon are open for everyone, from the youngest visitors and their parents to grizzled-looking bearded men.
