About:
The most mass event to celebrate opening of the motorcycling season – the 4th International exhibition for active recreational activities equipment dubbed Motospring-2017 – will be held in exhibit halls 2 and 11 in Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre on April 21-23. For the first time ever in the history of exhibitions one venue will gather motorcycles from all major global brands: Aprilia, Bajaj, BMW, Ducati, Harley–Davidson, Honda, Indian, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha and much more. Almost all of the above plan to present new models. For the first time Harley–Davidson Road King Special, Moto Guzzi MGX–21, KTM 1290 Super Adventure and other latest motorcycles will be on display. Quad bikes and other off-road vehicles will be presented by BRP, Polaris and Yamaha, while both small niche manufacturers and industry giants will showcase gear, spare and tuning parts – Akrapovic, Ohlins, Shoei and Alpinestars, therefore letting the visitors see a full and true picture of the Russian motorcycling market.
Motospring-2017 will feature all key social organizations and authorities relevant for the motorcycling movement this way or another, from bike clubs and movements and through to traffic police and Moscow Department of Transportation, which will once again run the City for Bikers quest together with BMW Motorrad Russia raffling a BMW G 310 R as the main prize. A separate exhibit hall will host the world of arts and crafts where one can check out, buy or order apparel, shoes, fashion jewellery and paintings, or make a tattoo.
Motospring is a festival of sun and warmth that spreads beyond halls and stands. Outdoor areas of Sokolniki Park will house a tremendous sports and entertainment show featuring freestylers, trial and stunt riders led by legendary Alexey Kolesnikov. Special areas for a wheelie stand, boxing ring and other free access attractions will be equipped too. Frequent live music performances will be seen on stage – the festival will offer the 1950s art festival featuring Russian rock-n-roll performers, dance school workshops and collections of antique vehicles. Children’s area will welcome future bikers where they can compete in runbike rides at a reduced copy of a race course. Free entrance and parking in the park is provided for two-wheeled vehicles.
