About the project:
International Exhibition of Calligraphy is the world’s largest project for fancy writing and writing as a fine art. Since 2009, the project has been carried out under the auspices of the RF Commission for UNESCO and the Russian Ministry for Cultural Affairs. The highest level of the project was marked by UFI, the Global Association of Exhibition Industry. The main exhibition organizer – Contemporary museum of calligraphy – is a member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM-Russia), American Association of Museums (AAM) and the European Museum Forum (EMF). In 2010 the International Exhibition of Calligraphy was included in the top three best shows of the world according to Exhibition News Awards.
The guests will enjoy calligraphic masterpieces from Europe, Asia, Africa, USA, Latin America, Australia, and Oceania, as well as acquire invaluable experience during interactive master-classes, conducted by eminent calligraphers.
