About the project:
The International Exhibition, Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment 2016, demonstrates the best national and international developments in the field of objects and services related to accessibility provision, modern technical equipment and application of the advanced rehabilitation technologies.
From September 14th to 17th the 6th International Professional Exhibition, Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment 2016, will be held in the Sokolniki Museum and Educational Centre in Moscow. The event is traditionally organized by Inva Expo with the support of the legislative and executive branches of the Russian Federation.
In 2016, the exhibition will be completed according to a brand new concept. The aim of the exhibition is to provide, at the largest Russian business platform, an effective dialogue between the contractors, producers and suppliers of products and services for people with disabilities. Among the participants there will be representatives from all the Russian regions and the CIS in the field of public purchases of rehabilitation equipment and services. Leading foreign companies producing rehabilitation and accessibility equipment and services as well as representatives of foreign rehabilitation and recreation centres are expected to participate as well.
Exhibition topics: technical rehabilitation equipment for disabled people; prosthetic and orthopaedic appliances; orthopaedic footwear and adaptive (rehabilitation) clothing; social security medical assessment board; rehabilitation technologies; institutions for disabled and elderly people; health resort institutions; equipment for rehabilitation institutions; design and development of accessible environment; accessible housing, transport, health service, culture, education, information and communication; social services.
The professional programme of the exhibition features the International Symposium, Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment, the Art Festival: Parafest. Indian Summer in Sokolniki, Children and Parents Day and the awarding ceremony of the 8th National Award of Yelena Mukhina. The entertainment programme, a fashion show, handicraft exhibitions, sport competitions and workshops will help visitors and participants engage in the festive spirit. There is also a surprise in store: live broadcasts from the 15th Paralympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.
