About the project:
The InvaExpo. Society for Everyone ("Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment") is a national exhibition platform to demonstrate developments in the national rehabilitation industry and fashioning of the accessible environment in our country.
The event is officially supported and contributed to by the Russian Presidential Disabled Affairs Committee, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health Care, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Communications and Media, Ministry of Sport, Russian Social Insurance Foundation and Moscow Department of Labour and Social Security.
The exhibition organizing committee is led by Mikhail Terentyev, Russian Federal Assembly Duma Deputy, Chairman of the All-Russian Society of Disabled and Paralympic champion.
Key topical exhibition sections are as follows:
- Technical rehabilitation equipment;
- Latest innovations;
- Medical and social expertise;
- Rehabilitation centres and modern rehabilitation technologies;
- Prosthetics and orthopaedic appliances, orthopaedic footwear and adaptive (rehabilitation) clothing;
- Inclusive education and employment of disabled individuals;
- Health resort institutions;
- Elderly care;
- Design and development of accessible environment;
- Accessible housing, transport, health care, culture, education, information and communications, and social services.
The event agenda will include a session of the Russian Presidential Disabled Affairs Committee, "Parafest" art festival, "Children and Parents Day" and other activities and presentations, entertaining performances, fashion shows, art exhibitions, and eventful sports and cultural programmes.
Participation by the authorities and executive branch representatives enables efficient cooperation between all rehabilitation market players on the exhibition platform, and illustrates the efficiency of public private partnership based projects.
